( in case you can’t read the picture)
I am searching the whole, wide, world, just for the right yarn & pattern for your socks. My son is quite miffed that I am sending postcards to you and not to him! Can you believe some knitters have finished their socks? OVER-ACHEIVERS!
and it is signed with a heart, a sock and pal
Isn’t it wonderful
I know it isn’t supposed to be a secretpal swap per se, but it is lovely to hear from my sock pal and that she is taking such care choosing my yarn and pattern
On my side of the sockapalooza street, I have plied the yarn and it looks lovely, not at all what I was anticipating but that’s the beauty of hand spinning – you’re never quite sure what you’re gonna get.
I would post a pic, but I am pretty sure my sockpal reads the blog so I don’t want to give her too many clues just in case.
I promise to publish photos of the yarn and the finished sock once the swap is over so as not to spoil the suprise
In the meantime there is a prize to give out!
I put all the names of our kind sponsors in a hat and the name that came out was……
